I had my theremin since my 30th birthday in 2002 and it wasn't a very fancy one to start with. After using it many many times over the years it started to short out and getting a reliable signal from it was tricky. Sometime in spring/summer 2014 my old pal Brian Omer back in Kentucky was working on a new album with his band STONECUTTERS and he asked if I could do a theremin intro for one of their songs. So I dug the theremin out of my closet, dusted it off and recorded a few licks. It made me remember how much fun it was making weird sounds with it so I kept going and recorded a series of improvised bits that turned into this release. Sandor from HARASSOR had given me a batch of 20 min blank cassettes (10 minutes each side) so I used those to dub the release myself at home. I had covers and tape labels printed and BAM! I had a new release. This one was limited to 30 copies and is long sold out. And the theremin went back into the closet. ~Horus
