I worked at Amoeba Music Hollywood from 2001 to 2004, until I landed my first production job at this company New Wave Entertainment in Burbank. I started out as a production coordinator working on a lot of behind-the-scenes documentaries for movies on DVD and Blu-ray. We had an in-house cameraman Adam Rehemier and we ended up working together many times on various shoots, both in house and on location. Adam and I hit it off and became good friends, we were both into horror movies, Pink Floyd, and we both obsessively recorded our own lo-fi music at home. Adam got really into shooting and editing his own short experimental films, and eventually it culminated in his first feature which was a psychological horror film he called "The Bunny Game". He shot it on a shoestring budget with a minimal cast and a literal one-man crew. Once it was in the can and he moved to post-production, he asked me if I had any music I could offer to help fill in some gaps in the score. I was very happy to oblige and basically went his house one night with my hard drive and he copied a bunch of my solo tracks that were of the dark ambient/drone variety, along with some songs from my band HARASSOR. After some time passed he had a finished cut ready and I went over to his house to check it out. It was simply the most unsettling and confrontational movie experience I ever had. From the first frame onward I squirmed in my seat until the very end. Later he wound up screening it at various theaters and festivals and I attended whenever I could. The highlight was when he screened it at the Heavy Metal Film festival in downtown LA, and HARASSOR performed a set in the theater afterwards. Eventually we started talking about doing an official soundtrack release on Rising Beast as the idea made perfect sense. Adam ended up doing a special edit of the music, combining his score and mine with samples from the film and songs from HARASSOR into an all-new listening experience. I made 100 copies on pro-tapes, and used artist Tom Neely's poster art and still photos from the movie for the layout. I am very very happy to have been a part of this special film and for getting to collaborate with my talented and gifted friend Adam. ~Horus

Green Altar has special place in my heart, such a beautiful song with touching words. It came out shortly before our wedding and we had our first dance to it, weeks after the wedding we saw and met chelsea and she congratulated us, this song always stirs up all the emotions moises9598
