This second DARGAR album collects the remaining songs from our 2012 sessions. Again, these were created in Garageband on my Macbook by setting up some fake beats and having Pete improvise guitar parts, which I then edited and looped into songs. Again I just let the songs go wherever they seemed to want to go, and we ended up with a variety of styles and tones. I added additional guitar, bass and synths and Pete recorded his vocals at the very end. He really pushed his range on this one, from black metal screeches to guttural death and even some clean singing, which I was able to overlap into these choral arrangements. This album took me FOREVER to finish as I had a million different things going on and I kept pushing it down on my list. But I finally wrapped up the mixing and mastering after laboring over it for what seemed like an eternity. Pete supplied me with a bunch of photos he had taken on his travels and used them for the layout. The album title "The Shores of Space" is the name of a short story collection by sci-fi author Richard Matheson. I am so proud of this album and I believe this stands as some of the finest music I've ever made. Thanks for checking it out. ~Horus

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days.
