I can’t really do this album, or Wrest’s talent and influence, due justice. I can say that this album is a late discovery for me, and some of my favorite current metal projects are logical extensions of what Wrest has already done. This album is high art, the most painfully beautiful thing you’re likely to hear. Metallurgical Fire

Gritty and malevolent black metal with crust punk influences. There's tasty melodic licks to contrast all the razorblade-wielding dry madness that keeps the stuff mesmerizing. Love the buzzing nasty graveyard-soundscape and frenzied little solos. If you a black metaller, this is one to own and know thoroughly. LET'S KILL 'EM ALL! 𝙅𝙤𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙡
